New Business Education Foundation organized a roundtable meeting entitled "Energy Efficient Local Self-Government" at the premises of the Integrated Businss Faculty on the 19th December, 2013. The meeting brought together 32 experts, academics, public administration, mayors and civil society activists from Macedonia initiating a public debate concerning a number of challenging issues in the field on Energy efficiency, especially concerning the municipalities efforts in this field.
This one day event began with a keynote adress from the project coordinator, MSc. Todor Milchevski and the director of the Energy Agency of the Republic of Macedonia, MSc. Lazar Gechevski. Afterwards the project coordinator presented a quick summary of the succesfully implemented project activities, and their results. The key expert of each activity took part in presenting the findings, which were accompanied by a discussion part intended for the participants. The event ended with a general discussion from which a number of recommendations emerged, and a cocktail.

The roundtable meeting was part of the project "Energy Efficienct Local Self-Government", part of the CIVICA Mobilitas grant giving programme, implemented by CIRa and financially supported by SDC.
