As part of the awarded grant from the European Fund for the Balkans, the Think and Link Regional Policy Programme, two NBE members MBA Todor Milchevski and MSc Ivana Nikiforovska took part in a 2-day seminar, taking place in Belgrade, Serbia on the 26-27 November 2012.
NBE representatives had the chance to interact and share experiences with 22 representatives from 11 organizations grantees by the EFB. The workshop had the aim of crafting ways and discussing new innovative ideas on improving the policy impact of research activities.
The first part of this workshop presented an introduction and offered guidelines for understanding and conducting policy research and advocacy. The second part of this workshop offered both the theoretical and practical structuring of each organizations policy advocacy plans PAP’s and guidelines for selection of the appropriate form of the policy documents and dissemination strategies.
As part of the project activities, NBE will publish a policy paper entitled “Improving Regional Policy in R. Macedonia – Sharing the German and Slovenian Experience”.
